InnaStar Team

Founder/Executive Director

Jacinth Headlam

Jacinth Headlam is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, author, producer, and visionary founder of InnaStar Inc., a grassroots “Home of the Creative” based in the Lehigh Valley with a growing international footprint. Born in Jamaica, raised in Brooklyn, and now rooted in Pennsylvania, she has turned a life of transitions, trauma, and triumph into a mission: to use the arts as a vehicle for healing, confidence, and legacy.

As Executive Director of InnaStar, Jacinth leads year-round programs including the Youth Filmmaking Program, GLOW Confidence Workshops, On-Camera Confidence Labs, Golden Star (60+) confidence cohorts, and the International Creative Exchange Program, which has brought arts-based healing and storytelling to students in Nigeria, Grand Cayman, and Liberia. She is also the creator and executive producer of the InnaStar Trailblazer Awards. This annual gala honors creatives, culture-shapers, and community leaders while pouring resources back into youth and community programs.

Through her film work, including the BET+ holiday film “Love After Holidays,” and through Jacinth Media Productions, she continues to write, produce, and coach stories that turn pain into purpose and purpose into legacy. At the heart of everything she does is a simple belief: when you give people a safe place to be seen, heard, and celebrated, they don’t just survive, they shine.
