InnaStar is a grassroots “Home of the Creative.” We rely on caring adults, teaching artists, and community members who believe in the power of the arts to transform lives.
There are several ways to serve:
Volunteer Roles:
Event Support – Help with set-up, check-in, guest assistance, and behind-the-scenes logistics at the InnaStar Trailblazer Awards and our Holiday Giveaway Celebration.
Program Support – Assist instructors during Youth Filmmaking, GLOW, and On-Camera Confidence sessions (classroom support, sign-in, tech help, student encouragement).
Admin & Outreach – Support with email outreach, phone calls, social media promotion, and community engagement.
Mentor Roles:
Creative Mentors – Artists, filmmakers, writers, actors, photographers, and designers who can offer guidance, feedback, and real-world insight to students.
Career Mentors – Professionals from any field willing to share their journey and help youth see what’s possible beyond the classroom.
What we’re looking for:
People who are reliable, kind, and supportive
Passion for youth, arts, and community building
Willingness to lead by example and respect InnaStar’s values and policies
